At Changeworks we inspire people to achieve their potential. We do this in a variety of ways that range from fun one day teambuilding events to extensive team development programs, performance coaching for results and personality type coaching.
After 16 years working at senior management level with global organisations (such as McGraw Hill and SAP), I decided to follow my vocational path into full time people development where I worked with two of the UK’s leading team development companies helping organisations (such as The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Cisco Systems) to take their teams to the next level of performance.
In 2005 I moved from the UK to the Sunshine Coast in South East Queensland and set up Changeworks. My passion lies in helping businesses to continue to invest in and develop their people through facilitating transformational team development programs and experiences. In addition, I facilitate conferences and meetings.

experience and qualifications
I managed my first team in 1982 whilst working in the hospitality industry in the Netherlands. A total of 9 years in this high pressure industry gave me an excellent grounding in high performance teamwork and outstanding customer service.
The 90’s was the senior management stage of my career leading teams in sales, customer care and business improvement. This means that I know first hand the challenges in managing and motivating teams to deliver consistently together.
For those of you that like QOP (Qualifications on Paper!) I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of West London. I am a Master Practitioner of NLP (neuro linguistic programming*), Aus Identities™ Personality Profiling Practitioner and hold Certificate level IV (TAA04) in Training and Assessment. I am also a member of the National Speakers Association of Australia.

Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR)
Corporate and social responsibility is defined as 'a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns into their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders, on a voluntary basis.'
Corporate Social Responsibility and environmental issues require a great collective effort to make a real difference. Saving the planet is a huge responsibility and by breaking up this monumental task into smaller chunks, it becomes a realistic goal to make the difference that is required. CSR therefore comes down to the impact of the collective behaviour of teams within organisations and individuals within teams.
The Changeworks CSR Policy reflects our commitment to working with respect for the environment. As a result we aim to include the following practises in our teambuilding events and programs:-
- Meaningful event prizes that that inspire recipients
- Donations to charities that focus on environmental sustainability
- Reducing waste, recycling and re-using materials on events
- Developing the use of environmentally friendly event consumables
And in the office:-
- Reducing waste in the office – e.g. using both sides of a piece of paper
- Recycling as much as possible
- Sharing information electronically
- Using electronic marketing information
- Sending electronic greetings cards
- Turning off equipment at the wall
